Maico framed / Bill Bell XL440

this bike was purchased by Rick from a good friend of the late Bill Bell. The engine is a 1976 or later Honda XL350 center port which has a complete Bill Bell kit, stroker crank, big piston, flowed head, etc. and was built by Bill Bell himself, some years ago.

The frame is a 1975 or 76 Maico. Currently fitted are XL600, 41mm forks with a disk front brake.

This bike is eligible for AHRMA's new Post-Vintage MX class, but you will have to swap the front brake for a drum, and the 41mm forks for no more than a 38mm unit.
