1976 Suzuki RE-5

It was 1975 and every weekend I was heavy into MX., enduros and woods riding. I remember the first time I saw this bike at my local Suzuki dealership and was intrigued by the novelty of the bike - but not enough to buy one (but at that time I didn't own a road bike). I stumbled into this purchase in 1999.

The bike had 5140 miles showing and was in great shape, no major dings, no scratches, a little paint scrubbed off around the key switch and gas cap cover.

It started with a little choke, and the sound, unlike any other motorcycle. Kind of reminds me of the Mazda RX-7 we used to own.
